The sepia wash gives the picture a truely antique feel to it, which matches the costumes perfectly. I especially enjoyed the ribbon head band. And my eye follows a path in the picture that encompasses the entire image. (Sorry, I forget the official term for that.) My eyes are imidiately drawn to the faces, down the bodies, around to the left following the "negative space," which draws me up to the fabric above their heads and back down to their faces. Very good compisition. The only negitive thing in see in the whole picture is I believe I can see a bit of wig cap on the right side boy? That's kinda of throwing the image for me, and once I notice it, I can't stop seeing it. (Sorry, it's a bit of a pet peeve of mine.) Other than that, it's a very enjoyable picture.
